  I didn't know it then. But fast forward ten years and I still thank reaching higher. I was 17 ... Young , naive, and full of life but scared to live it. I stayed in my shell and had very low self esteem. Reaching higher helped put me on the right path. They taught me how to unlearn and how to love. They were also very loving. I will always remember looking forward to our meetings at Avondale Highschool - not only did we get to miss class, but we were taught things no textbook would ever teach us ! I'll be in contact soon - I wish I reached out sooner !
